WE GOT A SILVER AWARD!

We are delighted to announce that, after a rigorous assessment process, Candacraig has been awarded Silver by the Green Tourism certification programme, a worldwide acknowledged indicator of environmentally friendly practices in the tourism industry.

Green Tourism focuses on three key areas, People, Places, and Planet. The assessment reviews how businesses look after their teams and local communities, ensuring that they are valued and actively involved in sustainability practices. It also evaluates the extent to which businesses champion their local area by promoting authentic experiences and keeping their food and drink offerings as locally rooted as possible. Finally, a team of technical experts assesses the business's carbon footprint. Continued advice and support are offered by Green Tourism to ensure that each of its members applies the lightest impact on the planet and its natural resources.
