Walled Garden
Our historic and tranquil Victorian walled garden is at the heart of our estate and is the perfect setting to relax and enjoy the fresh crisp Highland air.
There is a lot to explore. Set within two acres the garden is abundant in colourful flora and native fauna. Gently stroll the perfectly maintained hedge-lined paths, enjoy a game of giant chess or read a book in our summer house set in the heart of the garden. Whatever the day brings, the walled garden offers a private outdoor space for all our guests to unwind, and enjoy a special Candacraig moment.
The Grounds
Our perfectly manicured lawn is a great spot for a game of croquet, or a gourmet picnic. The serene lochan is idyllic and peaceful flowing from the River Don left to grow wild as a carbon sink. We are surrounded by rugged woodland, ancient Caledonian forest and heather covered hills. Expect an oasis of tranquillity and beauty as you immerse yourself in the best of mother nature.
The verdant countryside and wild Scottish mountains offer precious moments to escape daily routine. the many winding roads around Strathdon offer picturesque beauty at its finest.
