Set against the backdrop of some of Scotland’s most impressive scenery, the rattle and hum of city life fades out and gives way to clarity of thought — making space for ideas.

It’s a place for expanding your creative horizons. Painting, drawing, weaving and calligraphy classes are available locally. So many of these crafts are inspired and shaped by the lifestyle and heritage of the Highlands, and you can become part of this rich tradition during your time here.

We are fortunate to have several excellent musicians who live nearby and are regulars at Candacraig hosting an evening of Scottish country dancing, fiddle, bagpipes, harp and guitar tunes. Sit back in your armchair and enjoy the wonderful sound of Scottish music, grab a guitar and join in or try out our baby grand piano in the whisky library.
