Candacraig is one of Scotland’s historic, premier exclusive use properties.

We aim to be a recognised name in Scottish hospitality for achieving a high level of sustainability and social responsibility whilst protecting the majestic wild nature around us.

We believe with a sustainable eye on all operations and evolving behaviours of staff and guests we can promote and achieve responsible tourism. Candacraig is inspired that travellers understand a gentle footprint is required whilst amongst precious nature, and that this does not need to be at the expense of a luxury experience.

The property was built in 1836 and within this historic fabric we have made a significant effort in reducing our carbon footprint. We carefully plan our events with this front of mind and are constantly implementing new ways to achieve this.

Supporting our community plays a big part in our vision for Candacraig. From employing local staff and donating excess food to supporting community projects and events.
